The DPC offers a a rich collection of documents discussing in depth, aspects of Nigeria's development process. The documents can be found in the publications of the centre.

The centre itself is located in the quiet, serene setting of the Agodi Government Residential Area of Ibadan, making it an ideal and conducive environment for academic and intellectual brainstorming activities. The centre has a well stocked research library with over 3000 book volumes, 150 journal titles, electronic databases including a CD-Rom and a run of some daily newspapers like Guardian, Thisday and Dailt Times.

In addition, the centre offers three seminar rooms of international standard to agencies seeking a conducive atmosphere to organise seminars and workshops for rental. All seminar rooms have aircondition and marker board facilities. A 'Public Address System' is available on request. The corresponding rates of these seminar rooms are listed as follows:
